Answering a Call

Lift the handset for handset operation or press the Speaker for hands‑free operation.
You may also press the Headset key if a headset is connected.

 

Placing a Call

Lift the handset, press the Speakerphone button, or press the Headset button.
Enter the number, then press Send.

 

Ending a Call

Place the handset on its cradle or press the End Call soft key.

 

Mute a Call

Press the Mute key to mute the handset, headset, or speakerphone.
Press Mute again to unmute.

 

Redialling

To redial the last number called, press the Redial button twice.
To view previously dialled numbers, press Redial once, then use the up and down arrow keys to scroll through the list.
Press Redial or Send to dial the highlighted number.

 

Holding and Resuming

To place an existing call on hold, press the Hold button.
To retrieve a call on hold, press Resume or the Hold button again.
If multiple calls are on hold, press the appropriate Line Key before pressing Resume.

 

Call Transferring

Transfer to Number (Attended Transfer)

Press the Tran button during the call.
Enter the destination number, then press Send.
When the destination party answers, announce the caller, then press Tran to complete the transfer.
If there is no answer, press Cancel and then Resume to return to the original caller.

Blind Transfer

Press the Tran button.
Enter the number.
Press Blind Transfer (or Tran again) to complete immediately.

 

Call History

To view missed, received, or placed calls, press the History soft key.
Use the left and right arrow keys to navigate between all calls, dialled, received, missed, and forwarded calls.
Use the up and down arrows to scroll through the list.
To dial a number, highlight it and press Send or OK.

 

Volume Control

Press the Menu button and select:
Settings → Basic → Phone Volume
Select Handset, Speaker, Headset, or Ringer, then press OK.
Use the Volume button to adjust the level, then press OK.
During an active call, the Volume button adjusts the volume for the active device (handset, speakerphone, or headset).

 

Steps to Record Unavailable Greeting

Press the Message button or dial *98.
Enter your mailbox number (your extension) and password (default is your extension).
Press 0 to change mailbox settings.
Press 1 to record your Unavailable Greeting.
Follow the prompts to record the message and press # to save.
Follow the prompts to Accept, Listen, or Re‑record the message.

 

Voicemail

To access voicemail messages, press the Message button or dial *98.

The voicemail system typically provides these options:

  • 3 – Access the advanced menu (time, date, caller ID information)
  • 5 – Repeat the current message
  • 7 – Delete the current message
  • 8 – Forward the message to another mailbox
  • 9 – Save the message
  • * – Return to the main menu

The default mailbox number and password is your extension number.
